Tim Tszyu is ready for pound-for-pound superstar

Tim Tszyu is back in action next month.

Tim Tszyu is fully focused on next week’s fight with Sebastian Fundora even though a showdown with Terence Crawford could be next for the victor.

The super-welterweight clash takes place on March 30 and Tszyu knows what is at stake against an opponent who has replaced Keith Thurman on two weeks' notice.

The Australian was set to face the former welterweight champion but an injury to Thurman means Fundora will now step in.

Crawford has been inactive since defeating Errol Spence last summer, but he’s set to receive an immediate title shot against the winner of this clash and it’s a showdown that Tszyu welcomes.

“That’s great. It’s an opportunity to become great. Once the opportunity arises for Crawford, that’s going to be a war,” said Tszyu when speaking to FightHype

“Spence didn’t look the same [against Crawford]. From the get-go, he looked off balance and maybe weight drained. It was different. Me and him are a completely different style. He’s a southpaw, and I’m orthodox. It’s sweet, man. I’ve had four fights in 12 months.”
