Tim Tszyu delivers brutal ninth-round TKO of Tony HarrisonShowtime

Tim Tszyu vowed that he'd drown Tony Harrison out in the ninth round and he did just that.

Tszyu cranked out several unanswered right uppercuts and dropped Harrison with a right hook to the temple to get a ninth-round TKO and win the Interim WBO junior middleweight championship at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia on Sunday.

The 28-year-old Tszyu (22-0, 16 KOs) yelled "what's my motherf—ing name?" in sheer jubilation toward the statement he sent toward undisputed junior middleweight king Jermell Charlo, who was part of the Showtime broadcast team calling the fight.

"The message was sent clearly," Tszyu said in the ring in a statement aimed at Charlo, who he'll fight next.

"You know what's up. You know what's next. I'm coming to America!"

Charlo vowed that Tszyu wouldn't be able to perform like he did Sunday against him when the two clash with the four 154-pound world titles on the line.

"Man, I'm ready," said Charlo whose injured left hand is still healing.

"I'm a different animal in there. I'm a different fighter than Tony."

After Harrison was able to assert his jab during the opening round, Tszyu used constant pressure and connected on 39 percent of his power shots en route to recording the ninth-round TKO.

Tszyu stunned Harrison with repeated right hooks to the temple before cranking out six unanswered uppercuts and making the American taste the canvas with a raucous right hook.

Although Harrison rose up off the canvas at the eight count following the shot, the referee didn't like his body language and ended the bout right there.
