Tommy Fury has finally revealed the reason why he was forced to pull out of his first proposed fight with Jake Paul.
The pair finally settled their rivalry earlier this year when Fury climbed off the canvas to secure a split decision win over his great rival but there was a time when many believed the fight was cursed after two previous postponements.
At the end of 2021, Fury and Paul were set to meet in a huge grudge match but those plans were thwarted when Fury sustained a rib injury.
Speaking on the injury in details for the first time, Fury has now admitted that the injury was caused by his older brother, the WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, courtesy of a medicine ball workout.
"Yeah, bang, the whole left side of my body quivered after it went down,” said Fury when speaking with Eddie Hall.
“My dad, Tyson, everyone [used the] medicine ball on me. Bit too hardcore yeah.
“Pounding it on Tyson's stomach and going on to mine is a bit of a difference. Obviously, the fight fell through twice, and it started the whole 'Tommy is scared'. That was never the case.
