Tommy Fury has revealed his clash with Darren Till will be an eight-round heavyweight contest, and says he is returning "bigger and stronger than ever" for the contest.

The two will headline MF & DAZN: X-Series 20 at Manchester's Co-op Live on January 18, with the fight and its undercard set to be broadcast exclusively worldwide on DAZN.

It marks a first fight in more than a year for Fury, who moved to a 10-0 professional record when he defeated KSI in October 2023 by unanimous decision at Manchester Arena.

Speaking on his return to the ring against former UFC fighter Till, the star promised a blockbuster encounter and suggested he was back at peak fitness after a hand injury.

"Everything is going good," he told The Stomping Ground. "I'm back, I've got my hand back, and I'm ready to get back in the ring. I've come back with an absolute bang.

"Darren Till's a good name - he's a big name especially in the UK, if not the world. It's a great matchup, but I only see it ending one way. It's a proper matchup.

"We're going to be fighting at heavyweight. It's going to be a heavyweight scrap. I'm jumping up the divisions because I feel good now. I've grown in almost the year I've had off.

"I'm coming back bigger and stronger than ever. Eight three-minute rounds, ten-ounce gloves, and it's going to be a good scrap."

Till will be making his professional boxing bow against Fury when the pair meet, having posted an 18-5-1 record across 24 fights in his mixed martial arts career.
