The celebrity pair are set to agree terms on a fight

Tommy Fury believes he will end Jake Paul’s boxing career when the pair meet in the ring.

Fury and Paul had been expected to agree to a fight soon after their respective victories over Anthony Taylor and Tyron Woodley, but neither of the duo put on an impressive display and the chances of a bout seemed to recede.

However, it appears as if a fight is now close to being agreed between the 22-year-old British light heavyweight, and his American rival, two years older.

"Things are looking up now between that fight," Fury told TMZ.

“So hopefully we should get it closed in the next few weeks so we'll see."

While neither fighter has even 10 pro fights to their name, Fury believes his experience is superior.

“This is an easy fight for me. A real easy fight," Fury claimed.

"I've been doing this job since I was 7. He's not a boxer. He's gonna see that when we fight.

"I will end his boxing career. There’s no more Jake Paul after we fight. That’s it.

"Beating Jake Paul doesn't get me a world title shot. It doesn't get me any respect to any of the fighters because everyone knows what the fighters think of him. All it is, is a good payday, an easy fight."
