Tommy Fury is not yet willing to prepare for a fight with Jake Paul as he focuses on his upcoming bout with Anthony Taylor.

Taylor made his name in mixed martial arts with Bellator, and has turned around his career in that discipline after a difficult start. Nevertheless Fury, Tyson Fury’s younger brother, is expecting a tough task when they meet as part of the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley card this weekend.

Speaking to BT Sport, Fury explained that he was not leaving anything to chance in camp.

"He's got a loud mouth and he's going to pay for everything he's said," Fury said. "But again, I'm treating him like I'm fighting Muhammed Ali.

"That's literally how I'm treating him, I'm treating him like he's the man who holds the world title and I've got a shot at the world title.

"That's how I've trained this whole camp, I've left no stone unturned, my weight is bang on, I've never been in this good shape as far out from a fight before.

"Everything's been covered in this fight, you know? I'm treating this like a world title fight.

"Without this win, all that other stuff is up in the air, it doesn't matter."

While Fury is being positioned for his two-fight US deal to culminate in a fight with YouTube celebrity Paul, he’s unwilling to look past his next fight.

"It's a two-fight deal," Fury said.

"The first fight is this one and the second fight is whenever, but again I don't look past anything, the only thing I'm looking to is August 29 and Anthony Taylor.

"That's the only thing I'm looking at, I've seen an interview where he's been saying that I don't believe I'm fighting on August 29, I'm not overlooking anybody.

"Anthony Taylor is in my sights and I've got to get him out of there in order to advance to the next level."
