Tony Bellew has given some advice to Ryan Garcia on social media following his loss to Gervonta Davis in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Garcia was stopped by a brutal left hook to the body in round seven after being knocked down in the second, and despite a fast start, 'King Ry' failed to grasp control of the fight with Davis showcasing his superior boxing skills.
The 24-year-old once again showed his courage after getting up from the first knock down in the second, but the fight-ending body shot proved too much with Garcia who took a knee and failed to rise.
As ever, many ex-fighters are giving their opinion on the contest and Bellew is the latest saying the following on Twitter.
"Spewed it! Yes they really hurt but you've gotta rise! Do it once and you'll do it again!," Bellew wrote.
Despite having the superior height and reach, Garcia still allowed Davis to get in close and drag his opponent into a dogfight, and this is something Bellew highlighted urging Garcia in the future to use these physical attributes to better effect, otherwise he could enduring defeats similar to that against 'Tank'.
"The attributes Garcia has are amazing!," Bellew continued.
"He's the quickest and one of the biggest fighters in the division yet he lets people get to him!
"If he uses them gifts he has properly then I swear he'd be almost impossible to beat!
"Amir had similar attributes! Stay away [and] box!"
