Bellew has been heaping praise on one fighter's power.

Tony Bellew is well schooled when it comes to heavyweight boxing, but who does the Liverpool man consider the division's best ever puncher?

Bellew spent some brief time at heavyweight after winning the WBC cruiserweight title and he enjoyed two memorable wins over David Haye.

Long before campaigning amongst boxing’s big men, Bellew had long been an ardent observer of the heavyweight greats.

Speaking recently to Instant Casino, Bellew didn’t hesitate when declaring George Foreman as the most powerful fighter the sport of boxing has ever witnessed.

“George Foreman. The greatest puncher boxing’s ever seen, ever, pound for pound. Judge a puncher by who he’s knocked out,” said Bellew, a fearsome puncher himself.

“So don’t ever tell me that Deontay Wilder is the biggest puncher the world’s ever seen. Who’s he knocked out?”
