Deontay Wilder’s ring return is still not confirmed, but his trainer has revealed that the former world champion will be back in action eventually.
Wilder has lost two fights in a row suffering shock defeats to Jsoeph Parker and Zhilei Zhang in high profile bouts.
The American star was linked to a huge fight with Anthony Joshua earlier this year, but those plans now appear to be a long way off.
Despite a dramatic downturn in form, Scott is insistent that his fighter will continue his career.
“Deontay has the heart of a lion and is willing to go out on his shield in the ring. He'll be back. Deontay will fight again,” said Scott when speaking to Genting Casino.
“He still has a bright future in boxing, especially at the high level. Losses happen in boxing, even to the greatest fighters.
“Right now, he’s doing very well; recovering, enjoying life, and heavily involved in real estate and investing. He just had a great vacation with his kids. Life is good for him.”
