Trevor Bryan wants to follow up his win over Jonathan Guidry by taking on one of Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua
Guidry was a late replacement for Mahmoud Charr for the fight to move to a 22-0 (15 KOs) record and retain his WBA regular championship.
That leaves him open to a potential challenge from the governing body’s number one ranked fighter, Daniel Dubois, but instead he wants a shot at a full title-holder or deposed champion Joshua.
“Trevor Bryan is here to stay," said Bryan after the fight, reported BoxingScene.com.
“I showed that tonight. I am only going to get better and keep improving my skills. I worked until the final bell. I am taking my talents overseas.
“I am going to make those fights against the top three, which is Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, and Oleksandr Usyk. I deserve those fights. This is a stepping stone for me. Shout out to Jonathan Guidry. He was a tough opponent.”
Joshua is due to fight Usyk in April or May in a rematch between the pair, while WBC champion Fury faces mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte.
