His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has revealed he is currently planning another explosive fight card for March 2025, which will not take place in Saudi Arabia.

Fresh on the heels of announcing arguably the greatest fight card ever put together to take place in February, His Excellency has hinted fight fans will not have to wait long for the next top class line-up.

On February 22 in Riyadh, live on DAZN Pay-Per-View, Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will rematch as the headline for the 'The Last Crescendo' card, while Daniel Dubois will defend his IBF heavyweight crown against Joseph Parker.

Zhilei Zhang, Vergil Ortiz Jr, Joshua Buatsi and Callum Smith also appear on the mouth watering schedule.

Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol; For Beterbiev's WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring belts

Zhilei Zhang vs Agit KabayelFor the vacant WBC interim heavyweight title
Joshua Buatsi vs Callum SmithFor Buatsi's WBO light heavyweight interim title

While the world of boxing is alight with praise and excitement for this astonishing fight night, it has also left questions of how the heck do you follow up such an event and equal such quality fights in the future.

The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) is confident Riyadh Season will be able to do just that. That comes down to the fact he had wanted more fights on the February card, but will now need to move these to another event.

Speaking exclusively on DAZN's Ariel and Ade: The Boxing Show, His Excellency said: "I wanted more fights on this card, but I have had to take two fights off.

"I had Frank [Warren, Queensbury promoter] and Eddie [Hearn, Matchroom promoter] call me one hundred times, saying 'what is this card, do you want it to last for 16 hours?' So I said 'okay, cancel the last two fights and we will push them to March'."

While February’s blockbuster event and Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2 on December 22 will both take place in Riyadh, the proposed March event will be hosted in another part of the world.

This is due to the holy month of Ramadan occurring in March in Saudi Arabia.

Turki Alalshikh added: "With March being Ramadan in my country, you can conclude this fight night will not happen in my country. But we will still try to have a big fight card outside of my country in March.

"I will reveal details as soon we have confirmed everything."
