Tyson Fury aiming to become undisputed champion in 2022, claims Frank WarrenTGB Promotions
The WBC champion will have to wait for the Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk rematch.

Frank Warren says Tyson Fury is aiming to become undisputed heavyweight world champion in 2022.

The WBC champion’s co-promoter explained that Fury wants to first fight in March and then move onto a fight against either Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua - with the pair set to rematch early next year.

That could have implications for WBC champion Dillian Whyte, who is negotiating for a shot at Fury himself.

“We are in an incredible position in heavyweight terms,” Warren said, reported BoxingScene.com

“Tyson has stated his intention to be very busy across the next 12 months and wants to return to action in March before bidding to become undisputed champion.

“So we’ve got a huge year ahead on the Tyson Fury front.”
