Tyson Fury has finally broken his silence on Dillian Whyte being made mandatory challenger to his WBC title.
Earlier this week, Whyte was given the good news that he’ll be the next fighter to compete for Fury’s belt and it’s a fight that is expected to do huge business in 2022 with Cardiff’s Principality Stadium the supposed frontrunner to stage the fight.
The teams of Fury and Whyte have just under 30 days to negotiate a deal otherwise the fight will go out to purse bids. Fury, who retained his crown with a thrilling stoppage over Deontay Wilder in October, has had his say on his next opponent.
"How many days has he been my mandatory?" Asked Fury when speaking to ">Behind the Gloves.
"One. So welcome to the big GK [Gypsy King] world. I've known Dillian a long time, we go back a long way and he's improved a lot over the last few years, but the outcome will always be the same, I'll knock him out if that fight happens."
