WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has named the fight which he believes is the greatest in the history of the heavyweight division.
Fury will be bidding to make history on May 18 when he faces Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight title live on DAZN PPV with the winner becoming the first heavyweight boxer to hold all four world title belts.
When asked about which heavyweight clash is the greatest of all time, Fury responded with a surprising pick and it was a contest which he was involved in.
"This [Fury-]Wilder III, I think that it was the best heavyweight fight that there has been," Fury told Queensberry.
The third fight between Fury and Deontay Wilder took place in 2021 and it brought the curtain down on what was a thrilling trilogy.
While Fury did emerge from this fight with his hand raised, he was knocked down twice in the fourth round, but the British star managed to land three knockdowns of his own before the contest was stopped in the eleventh round at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
