Tyson Fury is no stranger to facing Ukrainians inside a boxing ring.
On Saturday night live on DAZN PPV, he will face unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk for a second time after losing to the former undisputed cruiserweight champion in May by split decision.
However, this has not been the only instance when Fury has faced a Ukrainian in a huge fight. In 2015, the "Gypsy King" went head-to-head with Wladimir Klitschko who held the IBF, WBA and WBO world heavyweight titles in Dusseldorf, Germany.
Klitschko had dominated the heavyweight division for a number of years, and many dismissed Fury's chances of toppling 'Doctor Steelhammer'.
Fury however had other ideas and managed to pull off a huge overseas victory by beating Klitschko via unanimous in a dominant performance.
An immediate rematch between the two failed to materialise, but now a second encounter between Fury and Klitschko could be on the table after His Excellency Turki Alalshikh recently revealed that he is attempting to bring Klitschko out of retirement at the age of 49.
When asked by BoxNation about a possible Klitschko comeback, Fury wished his former rival the best of luck before mocking the idea.
"Good luck to the fella, whatever he wants to do, good luck," Fury said.
"I told him he was too old at 37 all those years ago, so he’s definitely too old at 49 for sure, grandad."
Fury's upcoming rematch with Usyk also features two British heavyweight prospects on the undercard with Moses Itauma and Johnny Fisher who face Demsey McKean and Dave Allen respectively.
