Tyson Fury believes he will be able to return to training in time to be ready for his planned fight with Deontay Wilder.
Wilder and Fury were due to meet in July but the WBC champion contracted coronavirus and the fight was rescheduled for October 9.
However Fury’s new-born daughter Athena has been in intensive care at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, and there was speculation that he would not be able to prepare properly for the trilogy rematch.
However Fury posted on his Twitter and Instagram that he would be imminently returning to training.
"I've just finished a little run this morning, getting it in," Fury said.
"Still here at the hospital, hopefully we'll be leaving today and I can start training camp for the big dosser [Wilder].
"Big shout out to the people of Liverpool, they've been so welcoming."
