Tyson Fury refuses to be impacted by Deontay Wilder's mind games

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder will come face to face again this week as they prepare for their eagerly-anticipated heavyweight encounter.

Tyson Fury will not be intimidated by whatever mind games Deontay Wilder tries to play in the build-up to this weekend’s heavyweight title clash. The outspoken rivals meet for a third time on Saturday night but before that comes a series of meetings including the final press conference and weigh-in.

In previous encounters between the pair, insults have been plentiful with both fighters taking the opportunity to score mental points before battle eventually commences. At their last meeting to announce their third fight, Wilder was uncharacteristically quiet and if he applies the same approach this week, it won’t be a tactic that gets to Fury.

"I don't care what they do. None of my business," said Fury, the WBC ruler when speaking with Sky Sports. "I keep my own business to myself and I don't really care what that big dosser does, nothing. I don't care what he does. If he talks or he doesn't. It doesn't make any difference to me. Mind games don't work with me anyway."
