The WBC heavyweight champion is poised to face his fellow Brit, who holds the WBA, WBO and IBF titles, in a massive unification fight this summer.

Tyson Fury has once again made a bold prediction for his expected summer heavyweight unification showdown with Anthony Joshua, telling fans to expect the same approach he employed in his last fight against Deontay Wilder.

Fury rematched Wilder in Las Vegas one year ago, and after coming close to a KO defeat late on in the first fight, he was far more assertive the second time around and handed the American his first defeat with a seventh-round stoppage to claim the WBC title.

Both he and Joshua have unified multiple versions of the belt in the past, but reported plans by the WBO to install an interim champion in a bout between undefeated contenders Oleksandr Usyk and Joe Joyce could give Fury and WBA, WBO and IBF champ Joshua the chance to determine a first undisputed heavyweight king since Lennox Lewis over 20 years ago.

In his latest media appearance, Fury once again promised a decisive win over "AJ".

"I've got a bigger heart, tougher, mentally and physically stronger," Fury told Gareth Davies. "I punch harder, everything's in my favour.

"When I take it to them, they can't deal with it. It's like wrestling a T-Rex. They can't win. I'm indestructible. I can't be beaten, if I'm injury-free and active there is no losing."

"[I'll fight Joshua] just like I did with Wilder. They said he said he was going to box and move, what did I do? Straight at him, bombs all the way through until he got stopped."

The highly-anticipated showdown has yet to be finalised, though Joshua's handler Eddie Hearn, who will co-promote the show alongside Fury's representatives Frank Warren and Bob Arum, says there could be confirmation of contracts being signed within the next two weeks.

He did note, however, that there is likely to be a two-stage announcement on the fight's confirmation, with details of the exact date and venue to come later on.
