Tyson Fury may have played a big part in the decline of Deontay Wilder, but he insists that the American will fight again.
From 2018 to 2021, Fury and Wilder engaged in three terrific battles with Fury winning two and having to settle for a draw in their first bout.
Last December, Wilder took on Joseph Parker in Saudi Arabia in a fight that was intended to be a platform to go into an Anthony Joshua battle.
Parker dominated the fight leaving Wilder without a major fight early in 2024, but Fury is adamant that something big is around the corner for the former world champion.
“I think he can come back, sure. I think he’s fighting again — I actually know he’s fighting again but I can’t drop who and what date,” said Fury when speaking to Fight Hub.
“But it’s coming soon, a massive fight with Wilder involved.”
