Malik Scott believes Anthony Joshua will have too much for Tyson Fury based on the latter’s recent performance against Francis Ngannou.
The British pair have been on a collision course for the best part of a decade but an official fight between both fighters still hasn’t materialised despite several efforts to get the contest on.
Last month, Fury almost surrendered his unbeaten record against Ngannou in what would’ve been one of the biggest upsets in sporting history.
The current WBC world champion was dropped in round three before narrowly escaping with the win via split decision. Scott, the trainer of Deontay Wilder, has offered his thoughts on potential Fury vs. Joshua battle.
“Anthony Joshua against Fury? That Fury, he’ll beat, and I believe [Joshua will] beat Ngannou,” said Scott when speaking to ESNews.
“There is only one man who knocks him out cold, and I think we know who that is, Deontay Wilder.”
