Tyson Fury was hinting at retirement following his sixth round stoppage win against Dillian Whyte on Saturday night.
However, the WBC world heavyweight champion didn't rule out a chance to face UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou who joined Fury in the ring following his win.
Crossover fights between boxers and MMA fighters have risen to prevelance over the past few years with Floyd Mayweather's clash with Conor McGregor in 2017 being one of the standout contests.
If Fury does indeed decide to face Ngannou in the future, Fury's US promoter Bob Arum believes the fight will do better business compared to Mayweather vs. McGregor.
"This UFC guy, assuming that he’s able to fight, that’ll do monumental business,” Arum told BoxingScene.com .
“They know each other and they know how much there is to be made for that fight. I think Fury and this UFC heavyweight champion, Ngannou, do bigger business than Mayweather and McGregor.”
