Amir Khan believes Tyson Fury will have too much for Oleksandr Usyk when they clash for all the heavyweight belts on February 17.
Khan has a wealth of experience when it comes to the big fights after sharing the ring with the likes of Canelo Alvarez and Kell Brook in huge events, and he’s looking forward to next year’s blockbuster.
Fury enters the event with a major point to prove after struggling with Francis Ngannou in October.
Fury climbed off the canvas to win narrowly on points, but his performance has brought enormous scrutiny heading into the bout with Usyk.
Despite his showing against Ngannou, Khan is still backing Fury to get the job done.
“When it comes to it though I feel that Fury is just one step ahead of every fighter,” said Khan when speaking to Boxing Social.
“His size makes a massive difference and I think going into that fight it will be a walk in the park for him. I don’t think he will knock Usyk out, but I think it will be a good clean points win by five or six rounds.”
