Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk: Bob Arum teases possible date for undisputed showdownTop Rank
Fans are still holding out hope for an undisputed heavyweight title fight.

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum believes an undisputed heavyweight title fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk could happen as early as December.

A fight between these two world heavyweight champions is one which boxing fans across the world have been crying out for, but after failed attempts to make the fight earlier this year, both men for the time being have gone their separate ways.

Usyk was in action last month when he successfully defended his IBF, WBA and WBO world heavyweight titles against Daniel Dubois in Poland, while Fury is preparing for a showdown with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou on October 28.

A fight with Usyk is the next logical matchup if Fury gets past Ngannou and Arum expects the contest to be a relatively easy one to make.

"It won't be hard to make," Arum told Sky Sports.

"I know the Usyk people, they're nice people. His manager, his promoter, they're terrific people.

"Usyk himself is a terrific guy. I think he wants that fight. I think that fight's going to happen and hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later.

"Probably early next year but it could happen as early as December."
