Robert Garcia is fully aware of what it takes to prepare a fighter for a showdown with Oleksandr Usyk.
The experienced trainer, responsible for guiding many great careers, was with Anthony Joshua when the Brit lost his rematch to Usyk in 2022.
This Saturday, live on DAZN PPV, Usyk will go in with Tyson Fury in what is one of the biggest fights in boxing history.
Victory for either man will mean the heavyweight division will have its first-ever four-belt champion, and Garcia is backing Usyk to claim the win.
“Usyk. I think it’s a very tough decision, because Fury’s so big and so heavy that it’s going to make it so difficult for Usyk,” said Garcia when speaking to BoxingScene.
“It’s a tough one. Maybe I'm being biased because I want Usyk to win. I think Usyk will pull off a decision but it’s not going to be easy.”
