Dave Allen has offered his opinion on who will win an undisputed heavyweight title clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.

Allen returns to the ring this Saturday night when he faces Frazer Clarke and after sparring both Fury and Usyk, Allen is perhaps best qualified to say who will emerge victorious when the pair eventually meet.

Usyk retained his world titles last weekend when he stopped Daniel Dubois in nine rounds and it’s now unknown what will be the next for the unbeaten Ukrainian.

Fury will take on Francis Ngannou in October as he welcomes the former UFC star to boxing, but what will happen if Fury ever meets Usyk? Allen has provided his thoughts.

“Usyk is there for the beating for definitely,” said Allen when speaking to Boxing UK

“I guess we’ll come back to this conversation after the Ngannou fight, but as it stands Fury has to be favourite.

“He’s bigger, he’s stronger, he’s a good body puncher. Usyk is a genius and, at the very least, he’ll give anyone in boxing history a lot of problems.”
