John Fury wasn't happy with his son's team.

Tyson Fury’s performance against Francis Ngannou last October brought many criticisms for the current WBC champion as he emerged victorious via a close split decision.

Fury was dropped in the fight’s third round, and he failed to build any momentum in the fight as he struggled to find the target of Ngannou, who was making his professional debut.

John Fury, Tyson’s father and undoubtedly his biggest supporter, has spoken about his son’s performance on that night and he’s placed the blame on Fury’s corner.

Coached by Sugar Hill Steward, Fury has been guided to some big victories by the Detroit trainer, but his dad wasn't impressed with what he seen during his battle with Ngannou.

“Can I compare Sugar HiIl and the rest of the team with Usyk’s team? On the last showing, definitely not,” said Fury Sr when speaking to the Daily Star via FreeBets

“Everybody is entitled to the benefit of the doubt but if they get it wrong it’s a bad place to be, the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world.

“Tyson is good enough to do his own thing, like he did in the last three rounds against Ngannou, cause the instructions were pathetic. He’ll use his own brain, he’s a vet, he’ll do what’s right for him.”
