The two heavyweights clash again in December.

Just weeks after their highly-anticipated clash in Jeddah, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will lock horns once again in a rematch later this year.

The Ukrainian beat Fury last time out to become the undisputed champion of the division, becoming the first fighter to hold all four belts since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

After speculation the two heavyweights would meet again in October, the official date has been made for December 21st in Saudi Arabia, four days before Christmas Day.

Speaking to Boxing Social, Fury's manager Spencer Brown commented on the rematch and shed some light on why the fight has been scheduled for the December date.

He said: “The rematch was always on, we were signed for the rematch, obviously we had to see how the first fight went, nobody got seriously injured, I believe Uysk has got a couple of injuries that will keep him out for a while but Tyson is raring to go.

“Nice to see him have some time with the family and kids. He’s not p*ssed off about it, he might have made a few mistakes, I didn’t think he did, it was a tough fight, I think it was a draw, and it’s going to be big. Rumble in the Jumble, Thrilla in Manilla. I think it will be an absolutely packed house again.”
