Ortiz is back this weekend.

Vergil Ortiz is aiming to maintain his perfect knockout streak this weekend when he faces Serhii Bohachuk in Las Vegas.

Ortiz is eager to make a big impact at 154lbs following Terence Crawford’s win over Israil Madrimov, but can he do it in style?

Here, DAZN looks at other fighters who made impressive starts to their career by hardly going the distance.

Roy Jones Jr

After cruelly missing out on Olympic gold in 1988, Jones was eager to make his mark on the professional game and he wasted no time demonstrating his power when turning over.

Jones scored 17 straight stoppages after making his debut and it created a platform for one of the greatest careers ever seen inside the boxing ring.

Nigel Benn

Conor Benn’s father was a menacing fighter and his reputation as one of Britain’s most ferocious punchers is well deserved.

Benn turned professional in 1987 and went on an incredible run as he stopped his first 22 opponents before being defeated by Michael Watson.

Anthony Joshua

After scoring gold for Britain at the 2012 Olympics, Anthony Joshua became one of the biggest names in boxing before even punching for pay.

Joining Matchroom and making his pro debut the following year, Joshua would stop his first 20 opponents becoming world champion along the way. It would be Joseph Parker who would first take him the distance.

Deontay Wilder

Olympic bronze in 2008 catapulted Deontay Wilder into the spotlight, but it was his power that made him a huge star in the heavyweight division.

Wilder would stop his first 32 opponents before going the distance against Bermane Stiverne when he became WBC world champion.

Tyrone Brunson

Tyrone Brunson's 19 consecutive first round stoppages were intended to push him towards becoming a mainstream boxer, but it was not to be when he was forced to go the longer distance.

Brunson would never make it past hot prospect stage but his arrival in the sport had many tuned in as he put together a brutal streak.
