Efe Ajagba squares off against Zhan Kossobutskiy on August 26 as chief support in the Jared Anderson vs. Andriy Rudenko card.
Ajagba is coming off a unanimous decision victory over previously unbeaten Stephan Shaw in January, and looks to extend his win streak to three fights after suffering the only loss of his career in Oct. 2021 against Frank Sanchez.
The Nigerian faces Kazakh fighter Kossobutskiy, who is undefeated through 19 bouts and was last in the ring in late Nov. 2022, when he earned a third-round knockout victory against Hussein Muhamed.
“This is a great test for me as I continue my quest to become Nigeria’s next heavyweight champion," Ajagba said in a statement. “I am coming to Tulsa to score a devastating knockout and remind everyone what I’m capable of doing inside the ring.”
