Who is the betting favourite for Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn? Early odds revealed for huge domestic blockbusterMark Robinson/Matchroom Boxing

Chris Eubank Jr. is the early favourite to secure victory when he faces Conor Benn later this year.

Earlier this week, it was announced that the bitter rivals will finally clash at some point in April and the contest is one that could do big business.

Back in 2022, the pair were scheduled to meet, but the bout was postponed at the last minute when it emerged there had been an issue with Benn’s pre-fight drug testing.

In the meantime, Eubank has continued with his career with fights against Liam Smith whilst Benn has also seen some action whilst also trying to prove his innocence.

Over two years on from their original date, it appears the pair are about to lock horns again and it’s a fight that has the fight community buzzing with excitement.

Benn will be moving to middleweight for the fight, a division Eubank Jr. knows well, and the Essex man begins the contest a slight underdog.

“Just over 30 years since Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn stepped into the ring together for the second time, their sons Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn look set to go toe-to-toe in London this April,” said Lee Phelps, a William Hill spokesperson.

“We make Eubank Jr. the early favourite at 4/6 to inflict a first defeat on Benn, who is 6/5 to take his unbeaten streak to 24 fights.

“Eubank Jr. is 5/4 to win by stoppage, but Benn could hold the advantage if the fight goes the distance. He's 10/3 in that market, a slightly shorter price than Eubank Jr, who is 7/2 to win on the judges’ scorecards.”
