British light heavyweight Ben Whittaker continued to rise through the ranks with a points win over Leon Willings.
Fighting on the undercard of the British heavyweight title fight between Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke, Whittaker was not afraid to showboat and that was immediately evident during his ring walk with dance group Diversity.
But once the first bell sounded, Whittaker showcased his skills inside the ring and knocked down Willings in the first round.
Willings however recovered and managed to give the former Olympian a stern test.
After eight rounds, referee Sean McAvoy scored the fight 78-73 in Whittaker's favour whose professional now extends to 7-0 with five of those wins coming by way of knockout.
