Eduardo "Rocky" Hernandez bounced back from his loss to WBC super featherweight champion O'Shaquie Foster in the best possible way in Mexico.
He came up against Daniel Lugo, and at first it looked like the latter would be on the road to becoming a winner when he hurt Hernandez in the third round.
However, this moment of worry spurred on Hernandez who then began an assault of his own with Lugo struggling to make any significant inroads.
With Lugo finding it difficult to cope with Hernandez's pressure, the referee stopped the fight at 2:17 in round seven.
In the co-main event, Erika Cruz Hernandez defended her WBA women's super bantamweight title against Nazarena Romero, but a winner could not be determined with the contest being declared a split decision draw.
