With Adrien Broner’s most recent fight postponed, it appears that the four-weight world champion is seeking a new path to walk on.
The brash American recently took to social media to announce that he was parting ways with BLK and looking to resume his career. The topic was featured this past Monday on The DAZN Boxing Show.
With Eddie Hearn on the show as the main guest, the Matchroom boss was asked his thoughts on Broner, and he was rather complimentary.
Hearn briefly worked with Broner when taking Gavin Rees to America in 2013 before the Welshman was outclassed by the Cincinatti man. Hearn hasn’t ruled out doing stuff with Broner again.
“There was a time when I was desperate to sign Adrien Broner. I thought he was amazing,” said Hearn when speaking with Ak and Barak.
“I’ve had three or messages in the last week from people trying to get me to work with Adrien Broner. I just feel that there’s a price and there’s a value, and it’s not one Adrien will agree with. He has value and he’s still a good fighter.”
