The DAZN Boxing Show discusses Triller's future in the world of boxing.

The DAZN Boxing Show debated whether Triller can still be a major force in boxing after pulling out of promoting its first legitimate boxing event.

Unified lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez was set to make the first defence of his WBA, WBO and IBF titles against mandatory challenger George Kambosos Jr. on Triller, but a series of postponements, COVID and contract difficulties have led to the enterainment platform pulling the plug on the contest.

Triller won the rights with a $6.018m purse bid back in February which was more than the money offered by Matchroom and Lopez's promoter Top Rank.

However, now the fight is off, does Triller have a future in the sport of boxing?

When asked by Akin 'Ak' Reyes about this subject, Barak Bess believes there is.

"Yes, because of business this year." he stated.  "We don't know what kind of event it will be, maybe Holyfield, who knows."

Barak also revealed that Triller are set to go ahead with their fight night on October 16, but it will be headlined by two entertainment personalities instead of professional boxers.

He added: "I'm hearing it's KRS1 vs. Big Daddy Kane. I see all of New York coming out for that."
