Jaron Ennis is set to have his hands full when he deals with the threat of Karen Chukhadzhian on November 9, live on DAZN.
Ennis features on a huge show that also includes Bam Rodriguez, Raymond Ford, and Khalil Coe, but the Philadelphia star has huge ambitions in the sport, and he plans to reign as world champion in multiple divisions.
Ennis is seen as one of the emerging faces of boxing and his partnership with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing is expected to boost his popularity.
The welterweight star has enjoyed a flawless career so far as the owner of an impeccable 32-0 record, and he’ll be aiming to add to that next month.
Operating in a weight class that has been dominated by Terence Crawford and Errol Spence for the last seven or so years, Ennis has always been ready to test himself against such names.
Crawford is now operating at 154lbs in pursuit of a lucrative showdown with Canelo Alvarez, and that jump through the weights is something that Ennis wants to experience.
“I want to be undisputed at 147, 154, 160 and 168. I got stuff I want to do outside of boxing too,” said Ennis when speaking to TBISE.
“There’s a lot of things I got going on and a lot of things I want to do, but I’m just focused on handling what I’ve got in front of me first.”
