Zab Judah enjoyed an illustrious career as he racked up numerous world titles and also competed against some of the very best names that boxing had to offer.

A close friend of Mike Tyson, Judah broke out of the shadows of his fellow New Yorker in memorable high-level clashes against the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Amir Khan, and Cory Spinks.

Famed for his lighting speed and superb left hand, Judah was at the business end of the world rankings throughout the majority of the 2000s and even into the next decade.

Despite sharing the ring with several all-time great names, Judah let out a surprise when he announced who his toughest opponent was.

“Micky Ward was my toughest opponent because I was 15-0, fighting a legend, and he had a body punch that would stop a donkey,” said Judah when speaking with OLBG

“He was no joke, and I never had to use my mind capacity the way I had to use it in the Ward fight. That was hard.

“I've been fighting my whole life, there's nothing physically hard for me. But I never had to use my brain and mind capacity as I did in the Micky Ward fight.”
