DAZN will be broadcasting the inaugural Global Chess League, which is taking place in Dubai from June 22.
The competition is split into six teams, each of which must have at least two women players and one player born after the year 2002.
Five-time World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen leads the Alpine Warriors team while 2023 World Chess finalist Ian Nepomniachtchi heads up the Balan Alaskan Knights.
Carlsen is joined by chess prodigy Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, who earned his Grandmaster title at the age of just 10.
2023 Global Chess League dates
Each of the six teams will play 10 games in a round-robin format between June 22 and July 1 before the final and closing ceremony on July 2.
On June 22, 26, 27, 28 and 29 there will be just two matches. The other days will consist of four games.
DAZN will broadcast the Global Chess League. Days with two matches will get underway at 16:30 CET / 15:30 BST / 10:30 ET, while four-game days will start at 12:00 CET / 11:00 BST / 06:00 ET.
