The Indian Premier League (IPL) is by far the biggest T20 tournament in cricket and the 16th season continues this week with a full roster of matches
This competition is unlike any other around and attracts the best and brightest in the sport who will battle for a place in May's final set piece.
The current champions are the Gujarat Titans who managed to win the iconic trophy in their debut campaign and will have their sights set on securing back-to-back titles.

The opening game for this week's IPL is scheduled for Monday, April 3 and will see Chenna Super Kings take on Lucknow Super Giants. The match is set to get underway at 2 p.m. BST.
IPL 2023 tournament schedule
Starting on March 31, all 10 teams play each other home and away with the final game set for May 21 when Royal Challengers Bangalore face the Gujarat Titans.
The top four teams will then battle it out for place in the final, the full schedule for the knockout stage can be found below.
IPL 2023 road to the final
- Qualifier 1: First place vs. second place
- Eliminator: Third place vs. fourth place
- Qualifier 2: Loser of Q1 vs. Eliminator winner
Dates for the above matches are yet to be confirmed, but the final will take place on Sunday, May 28.
