After making an impact in MMA and boxing, Conor McGregor is now establishing a name for himself in basketball.
The Irish superstar was in attendance at the Kesaya Center in Florida as the Denver Nuggets took a 3-1 lead over Miami Heat in game four of the NBA finals, but it was McGregor’s antics at halftime that stole the headlines.
Promoting his new pain relief product for those in attendance and watching from home, McGregor took part in a skit with Burnie, the Miami Heat mascot.
Landing a number of blows, McGregor floored Burnie before applying his spray against the stricken character.
According to reports, the mascot was hurt and rushed to hospital following the playful altercation with the UFC veteran.
McGregor’s actions brought boos from the crowd, who had to endure further torment as the evening wore on thanks to the Nuggets taking victory and setting themselves up for an NBA title.
