Just last week, Michael Chandler expressed doubt about whether his proposed fight against Conor McGregor would actually happen.
But in true "Notorious" fashion, McGregor took to his X account Monday and seemingly gave an update:
Ironically, he didn't mention Chandler by name and his previous post was a warning to none other than Tony Ferguson, as he told the veteran fighter:
Thus, the saga continues, as mixed martial arts fans have yet to get a confirmed announced date for McGregor-Chandler, despite the two recording an entire season of "The Ultimate Fighter," where they coached opposing teams of fighters.
Over the weekend, Chandler jabbed at McGregor in frustration:
When McGregor's name was broached over the weekend during the UFC 292 post-press conference, Dana White didn't offer clarity either.
"Why not December?" White told the media. "Who the f—k knows? We'll see how this thing plays out."
