Europe’s premier MMA promotion, OKTAGON MMA, confirms world heavyweight title fight in Frankfurt.

Stuart Austin is one of the most respected figures in UK MMA. His 26-fight career to date has seen him compete with some of the best fighters in the world, across promotions such as PFL and Bellator, as well as holding a victory over the current UFC interim-heavyweight world champion, Tom Aspinall.

His home now is with OKTAGON MMA, Europe’s biggest MMA promotion. After two impressive fights since signing with the promotion, including an incredible performance at OKTAGON 52 in Birmingham which saw him submit Adam Palazs, Austin has earned a title shot.

He will head to enemy territory at OKTAGON 57 in Frankfurt on May 4, as he looks to dethrone German champion, Hatef ‘The Boss’ Moeil.

Speaking ahead of the contest, Austin is expecting his superior skill set to bring this heavyweight title fight to an early end.

“Hatef Moeil is a good match up for me. My striking, grappling, and wrestling are all better than his. We won’t need the judges, I will be stopping him before the final bell," Austin said.

Austin (18-8) is looking to claim the coveted title and move to 3-0 as an OKTAGON MMA fighter. Moeil (15-4) won the heavyweight strap in November 2023, and the bout against Austin will be his first title defence.
