The latest round of PFL action saw Sadibou Sy score a devastating second round stoppage over Jarrah Al-Silawi.
The welterweight winner of season two was in no mood to hang around and he laid down his credentials for this year’s version of the event as he was too good from the outset as he easily deterred the threat of Al-Silawi.
Also impressing early in his fight was Magomed Magomedkerimov.
A huge favourite going into his contest against Ben Egli, Magomedkerimov finished the bout in just over a minute as he sent out a message to his rivals in this year’s competition.
Also on the bill, former UFC favourite, Shane Burgos, endured a tough start to life in the PFL as he fell short against Olivier Aubin-Mercier.
Burgos gave the bout everything, but his attacks were consistently spoiled by Aubin Mercier who ran out a comfortable winner on the judges' scorecards after three rounds.
