Jake Quickenden impressed in his MMA debut this past weekend at Oktagon 48.
In front of an electric crowd at Manchester's AO Arena, Quickenden took on comedian Paul Smith and managed to beat his opponent with a first round stoppage.
Now five days after the victory, another name from the world of entertainment, in this case Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers, has declared his interest in facing Quickenden with a post on his Instagram stories.
''This is a message for Jake Quickenden, I saw your MMA debut the other day. It was very impressive," Chalmers said.
"I've been out of the MMA loop for four years now, but I know Oktagon has a big show in Newcastle and I am the hometown hero. You are 1-0, and I haven't stepped foot in an MMA ring for four years. Let's get the party started!''
After a successful event in Manchester, Oktagon returns to the UK on January 27 where it will stage Oktagon 52 at Newcastle's Utilita Arena.
