Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler was supposed to headline UFC 303 on June 29 before the former broke his toe for the long-awaited bout to suffer yet another setback.
At this point, has Chandler given up hope that the mega fight will happen?
It sure sounded like that when Chandler took to his X social media account on Monday.
The 36-year-old McGregor hasn't fought in over three years since suffering a fractured leg in a first-round TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in their July 2021 trilogy. Including that bout, McGregor has lost three of his last four fights.
Chandler, 38, too has lost three of his last four fights, having suffered a third-round submission (rear-naked choke) defeat at the hands of Poirier in November 2022.
