Nico Ali Walsh understands the meaning of GOAT. After all, Walsh's late grandfather and global sports icon, Muhammad Ali, still is synonymous with being the "Greatest of All Time."
But during an encounter with mixed martial arts legend and reigning UFC heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, Walsh made it clear "there is no debate on who the goat of mma is."
That's the caption Walsh (11-1 with 5 knockouts in boxing) wrote to salute Jones, accompanying the high praises with footage of them playfully boxing.
In the clip, which Walsh posted to his Instagram account Thursday, Jones smiles and says he's taking "the opportunity to box with an Ali" and later even busts out the famous Ali Shuffle that Ali used to flash against opponents.
The clip ends with the fighters embracing and Jones saying, "I need that video."
The 24-year-old Walsh is coming off a unanimous decision over Sona Akale in June, furthering his climb up as a boxing prospect who is looking to become a contender.
Meanwhile, Jones is expected to defend his heavyweight UFC title against former two-time champion Stipe Miocic later this year.
