Jorge Masvidal has joined Jon Jones as the latest UFC star to be vocal about his unhappiness with the organization for which he competes.
The BMF champion took to Twitter to air out the company for what appears to be failed negotiations to schedule his next fight.
"Shouldn't be this hard to get a deal done #f-ckery," Masvidal tweeted earlier in the week.
Masvidal has been linked to several names for the past few weeks but nothing has materialized. Initially, it was thought that Masvidal would challenge UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. All signs pointed to a potential showdown, and the bad blood certainly helped heighten interest. But then the focus shifted to a rematch with Nate Diaz, who Masvidal beat via TKO stoppage due to cuts in three rounds back in November.
"Let's run it back #resurrection #andstill," Masvidal tweeted in response to a Nate Diaz post.
Once again, nothing materialized. And now it seems that the 35-year-old is getting restless with his situation.
Masvidal retweeted a post from Jones asking to be released from his UFC contract after a public spat over money between the light heavyweight champion and UFC president Dana White developed.
On Friday morning, Masvidal cut loose a series of tweets challenging the mixed martial arts promotion on fighter pay.
