UFC star Michael Chandler has revealed who he believes is the hardest hitter he's faced since joining the promotion in 2021.
Chandler impressed on his UFC debut when he knocked out Dan Hooker in the first round of their contest in Abu Dhabi, but since then he has only won one of his four contests with Dana White's organisation.
Chandler has fought some of the lightweight division's biggest names over the past two years including Charles Oliveira for the vacant lightweight title. Chandler would lose this contest by knockout.
He has also fought Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje, but when it comes to picking which of his past opponents hits the hardest, Chandler pointed to his matchup with Dustin Poirier at UFC 281 last year which he would lose by third-round submission.
"Dustin Poirier hits fricking hard, man,” Chandler responded when asked by talkSPORT.com to pick the biggest puncher he’s ever faced.
“It’s widely documented, me and Dustin need to squash our beef eventually, but we haven’t quite yet.
“Dustin hits hard.”
