The MMA community had all eyes on Francis Ngannou as he made his tiumphant return to the sport.
Ngannou hadn't fought in MMA since his UFC 270 defeat of Ciryl Gane in 2022. He made a dramatic exit from the UFC and signed with PFL but took a hiatus to compete in boxing fights with Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
On Saturday, he stepped back into the cage and made his PFL debut when he faced off with Renan Ferreira, the 2023 heavyweight champion. It took Ngannou just over three minutes to finish Ferreira with brutal ground and pound to win the Super Fight title.
