Any questions about whether Jon Jones could be successful in his first fight in three years and heavyweight debut were quickly silenced Saturday night when "Bones" used a guillotine choke to submit Ciryl Gane just 2:04 into the first round to be crowned the new UFC heavyweight champion.
And after the MMA GOAT made such easy work of Gane at UFC 285, he didn't waste any time calling out former two-time heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic, who was in attendance at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
When Joe Rogan broached the question about a possible fight between Jones and Miocic, the newly-crowned heavyweight champion offered a resounding "Ohhhh yeah, baby!"
"Ya'll want to see me beat up Stipe?" Jones surveyed the Vegas crowd. "One thing I know about the UFC is we give the fans what they want to see. Stipe Miocic — I hope you're training, my guy. You're the greatest heavyweight of all time and that's what I want. I want you real bad."
Prior to the UFC 285 main event, Miocic told the UFC that he'll fight Jones or Gane for the title.
