On Friday, August 23, the Professional Fighters League held its final PFL Playoffs event awarding four fighters a trip to the PFL Finals later this year. Headlining the card was a featherweight scrap between 2022 champion Brendan Loughnane, who faced off with PFL newcomer Kai Kamaka III. The fight went the full three rounds in a wild and exciting back-and-forth affair but it was the former champion who scored with the judges to advance to the finals. He'll fight Timur Khizriev who defeated Gabriel Braga earlier in the evening.
In the co-main event were welterweight hopefuls Magomed Umalatov and Neiman Gracie. Umalatov advanced to the finals after derfeating Neiman Gracie handily. He'll fight Shamil Musaev who defeated Murad Ramazanov earlier in the evening.
